Graduate Teaching Assistant
Location: County Durham
Start Date: January 2025
Contract: Full-time (Temp to Perm)
Salary: £90–£100 per day (DOE)

Teaching Personnel is seeking motivated and enthusiastic University Graduates to join our partner schools across County Durham. If you’re excited by the idea of supporting pupils, inspiring learning, and gaining hands-on classroom experience, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Be Doing

Creating a positive, inspiring and supportive learning environment

Working closely with students, providing both group and 1:1 support

Collaborating with teachers to deliver engaging lessons and interventions

Using your subject strengths to boost pupil confidence and progress

Developing professional classroom skills that will support your future teaching career
Who We’re Looking For

A degree in any subject (Education preferred but not essential)
-
Experience working with young people or in a classroom (desirable)
-
A valid DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

Strong communication, teamwork and organisation skills

A genuine passion for education and helping pupils succeed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
