Are you a graduate considering a future career in secondary teaching?
Our Future Teacher Programme offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on school experience before committing to teacher training.

This programme is ideal for graduates in Maths, English, Science, or Humanities who want to explore teaching, build confidence in the classroom, and strengthen a future PGCE or teacher training application.

The Opportunity

As a Graduate on our Future Teacher Programme, you will work alongside experienced teachers, gaining insight into day-to-day life in a secondary school while supporting pupils in lessons and across the wider school community.

What You’ll Do

  • Support teaching and learning in your subject area

  • Work with small groups and individual pupils

  • Observe experienced teachers and best practice

  • Assist with lesson preparation and classroom activities

  • Gain experience in behaviour management and safeguarding

  • Become a valued member of the school team

Who We’re Looking For

  • A graduate (or final-year student) in Maths, English, Science, or Humanities

  • Interest in pursuing a career in secondary teaching

  • Positive, proactive, and professional attitude

  • Strong communication skills

  • Commitment to supporting young people’s learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
