Job description

Graduate Teacher – Secondary Schools 

Location: Luton

We are looking for a motivated Graduate Teacher to join secondary schools across Luton, starting within the next few weeks. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates who want hands-on experience working with secondary-age students, regardless of subject specialism.

Key Details:

  • Pay: £90 per day

  • Hours: Part-time or Full-time available but will need to be able to do full days 8:30am till 3:30pm

  • Location: Luton (must be able to travel locally)

  • Start Date: Immediate / within the next few weeks

About the Role:

  • Cover supervisor role

  • Working with secondary students (ages 11–16/18)

  • Supporting classroom learning and behaviour

  • Delivering pre-planned lessons or providing general classroom support

  • Gaining valuable experience in a secondary school environment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (any subject)

  • Interest in working with secondary students

  • Ability to travel between schools in Luton

  • Strong communication and classroom presence

Experience:

  • Previous school experience is desirable but not essential

  • Newly qualified graduates are welcome to apply

This role is ideal for aspiring teachers, recent graduates, or those considering a future career in education who want real classroom experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
