Pay Rate: £130–£251 per day (dependent on experience)

The Role

As a Geography Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and inspiring Geography lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
• Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment where all students can succeed.
• Encourage students to think critically about the world around them and develop a lifelong interest in Geography.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support attainment and achievement.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and wider school staff to support student outcomes.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Geography within a secondary school setting.
• Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Geography education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to build positive and productive relationships with students and colleagues.
• A commitment to raising achievement and maintaining high expectations for all learners.
• A proactive, adaptable, and professional approach to teaching.
