Teaching Personnel are working with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Newcastle, seeking an enthusiastic and committed Humanities Teacher to join their supportive department. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in an environment where creativity, subject knowledge, and student engagement are truly valued.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:
• Planning and delivering engaging and well-structured lessons across KS3 and KS4 (with potential for KS5)
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners
• Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
• Contributing to the wider school community and department development

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a teacher who is enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to student success.

You will ideally have:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be working towards it
• Experience teaching Humanities subjects in a secondary school setting
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• A collaborative and proactive approach to teaching
• A genuine passion for education and student development
