Geography Teacher – Sherborne
Full-Time | January 2026 Start

A well-regarded and forward-thinking secondary school in Sherborne is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join their team from January 2026. This is a full-time role suited to someone who is committed to inspiring young people and bringing the subject to life in the classroom.

The appointed teacher will deliver dynamic and thought-provoking Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, encouraging students to develop curiosity about the world and confidence in their geographical understanding.

Essential Criteria:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS, QTLS, or equivalent).
• Effective classroom management and strong organisational abilities.
• Capacity to design and deliver well-structured, engaging lessons.
• Secure subject knowledge and experience teaching Geography or wider Humanities.
• Excellent communication skills, with a talent for building positive rapport with students.
• A flexible, learner-focused approach, adapting teaching to meet varied needs.
