Teacher of Geography
Full-Time | Permanent Start Date: September 2026 Location: Salford
We are inviting applications for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Geography to join our vibrant Humanities department from September 2026. This full-time position is open to both early career teachers (ECTs) and experienced educators.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will:
- Deliver inspiring Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4, with potential KS5 teaching opportunities for suitable candidates
- Plan and implement engaging, high-quality lessons that foster a passion for Geography
- Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing effective support to enhance learning outcomes
- Contribute proactively to curriculum development and extracurricular enrichment activities
- Collaborate within a supportive, dedicated department to promote continuous improvement
We seek a candidate who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is on track to achieve it by September 2026
- Possesses strong subject knowledge and genuine enthusiasm for Geography
- Is committed to raising achievement through inclusive and differentiated teaching
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management and effective communication skills
- Is reflective, proactive, and eager to contribute positively to the wider school community

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
