Geography Teacher Needed for September
Secondary School – Bolton
Start Date: September
Contract: Full-time
Pay: MPS/UPS – paid to scale (dependent on experience)
A well-regarded secondary school in Bolton is seeking a Teacher of Geography to join their department from September. This is a full-time position, suitable for ECTs as well as experienced teachers, with the potential for a long-term or permanent appointment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4. You will be joining a supportive humanities department with a strong curriculum and a positive approach to teaching and learning.
Key responsibilities include:
- Teaching Geography across KS3 and KS4
- Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons
- Assessing and monitoring pupil progress effectively
- Contributing positively to the wider humanities team
Applicants must hold QTS or be an ECT working towards qualification. You should be passionate about Geography, confident in the classroom, and committed to raising pupil achievement.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
