Subject: Geography (Part-Time, Fixed-Term)

Required from: 01 September 2025

Contract term: Fixed-Term (until 31 August 2026)

Salary: £190 - £220 per day 

We are seeking an enthusiastic and well-qualified graduate with a passion for Geography and a commitment to academic excellence to join our team as a Teacher of Geography. This is a part-time, fixed-term role commencing on 01 September 2025, with the contract running until 31 August 2026.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have excellent subject knowledge, a strong understanding of the Geography curriculum, and a desire to inspire students at all levels. They will be expected to teach Geography up to and including A-Level, with significant teaching responsibilities in Year 10 and Year 12. The role involves setting an appropriate level of challenge for a wide range of student abilities, from those aiming for top grades (A*/9) to those needing additional support to achieve their best.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons that foster a love of Geography and inspire academic achievement.

  • Contributing to the development of schemes of work and supporting university preparation.

  • Enhancing the extracurricular life of the school, contributing to a vibrant and engaging school community.

  • Communicating effectively with students and colleagues, ensuring a supportive and collaborative learning environment.

About You:

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a qualified Geography teacher with a strong subject knowledge.

  • Have experience teaching Geography at GCSE and A-Level.

  • Possess excellent communication and organisational skills.

  • Be committed to continuing professional development.

  • Demonstrate a passion for Geography and a desire to inspire students.

  • Be adaptable and able to set high expectations for students of all abilities.
