We are working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Dorchester that is seeking to appoint a talented Geography Teacher to join their Humanities department from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who can bring the subject to life, helping students develop an understanding of the world's physical and human environments while fostering curiosity about global issues and current affairs.
About the Role
- Deliver engaging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Support students in achieving strong academic outcomes.
- Create innovative and stimulating learning experiences.
- Encourage independent thinking and a passion for the subject.
- Play an active role within the wider Humanities faculty and school community.
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Geography within a secondary school environment.
- Strong curriculum knowledge and a commitment to high standards.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A positive and proactive approach to teaching and learning.
