Geography Teacher – Dorchester
Start Date: September | Full-Time | Secondary School | KS3 & KS4

A well-regarded secondary school in Dorchester is seeking a dedicated Geography Teacher to join their team from September. This is a great opportunity for an educator who is passionate about their subject and keen to support students in developing a deeper understanding of the world around them.

The Role
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-planned Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. The role involves helping students to:

  • Understand key geographical concepts across both human and physical topics
  • Explore current global and environmental challenges
  • Develop analytical and evaluative skills
  • Build confidence in discussing and presenting ideas

You will join a supportive department where teamwork and high expectations are key.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Geography at secondary level
  • The ability to create engaging and inclusive lessons
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • A proactive and positive approach to teaching and learning
