General Teaching Assistant
Location: Norris Green, Liverpool (working within a welcoming primary school)
Start Date: January 2026
Contract: Flexible – Day-to-Day and Short-Term Assignments
Pay Rate: £13.75 – £14.50 per hour (depending on experience)

We’re looking for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join our team at a friendly primary school in Norris Green. What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide hands-on classroom support across different subjects and year groups
- Assist teachers with lesson delivery and maintaining a positive learning atmosphere
- Work with pupils in small groups or one-to-one to boost confidence and progress
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for all learners
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with primary-aged children
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or willingness to train)
- A positive, patient, and proactive approach to supporting education
- DBS registered on the Update Service (or willing to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
