Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a number of secondary schools based across Stoke-on-Trent who are looking for General Cover Supervisors to support.

This is a great opportunity for an aspiring teacher or recent graduate who is looking to gain further experience within mainstream schools.

The role of a Cover Supervisor:

  • Covering lessons in the absence of the class teacher
  • Opportunity to cover a range of subjects and year groups
  • Subject specialists required
  • All pre-planned work must be completed to a high standard
  • Ensuring positive behaviour is maintained and the school’s behaviour policies are followed when necessary

  • Experience working with young people in any setting
  • A confident individual with a passion for working with young people
  • Organised and adaptable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
