Secondary SEN Tutor – LA1 1HY, Lancashire
Location: LA1 1HY, Lancashire
Hours: Part-Time | Weekdays Between School Hours
Pay: Competitive Hourly Rate (£25–£30 per hour)
TP Tutors is looking for a dedicated Secondary SEN Tutor to provide personalised 1:1 tuition to Secondary-aged learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN) across LA1 1HY, Lancashire. This is a rewarding opportunity to help students build confidence, improve attainment, and reach their full potential.
The Role
-
Deliver engaging 1:1 tuition sessions.

Plan and deliver lessons tailored to each child's individual learning needs and abilities.

Support students in core subjects such as English, Maths, and Science.

Adapt teaching strategies to meet a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH.

Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to support learner development.
What We're Looking For
✔ Minimum 1 year's teaching or tutoring experience in the UK.
✔ Experience supporting Secondary-aged pupils with SEN.
✔ Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum.
✔ Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
✔ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
✔ Right to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
