GCSE Tutor - Carlisle (CA3)

Part-Time | Weekday School Hours

Are you passionate about helping young people achieve their academic goals? We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic GCSE Tutor to provide one-to-one tuition for students in the Carlisle (CA3) area.

The Role

As a GCSE Tutor, you will support students by delivering tailored lessons that meet their individual learning needs. You will help learners build confidence, strengthen subject knowledge, and make progress towards their GCSE qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging one-to-one GCSE tuition.
  • Plan and adapt lessons to suit each student's abilities and learning style.
  • Support students in improving academic performance and study skills.
  • Monitor progress and provide regular feedback.
  • Create a positive, supportive, and motivating learning environment.

Requirements

  • Experience teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or supporting young people.
  • Strong knowledge of GCSE curriculum content, particularly in English, Maths, or Science.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to engage and motivate learners of varying abilities.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
