Functional Skills Tutor – CA3, Carlisle
Location: CA3, Carlisle
Hours: Part-Time | Weekdays Between School Hours
Pay: Competitive Hourly Rate
TP Tutors is looking for a dedicated Functional Skills Tutor to provide 1:1 tuition to Primary and Secondary-aged learners across CA3, Carlisle. This is a rewarding opportunity to help learners build confidence and develop their English and Maths skills.
The Role
-
Deliver engaging 1:1 Functional Skills tuition in English and/or Maths.

Plan lessons tailored to each child's individual learning needs and abilities.

Adapt teaching strategies to suit different learning styles, including pupils with SEN.

Support learners in building confidence and improving academic progress.

Monitor progress and provide regular feedback.
What We're Looking For
✔ Minimum 1 year's teaching or tutoring experience in the UK.
✔ Experience with Primary and Secondary-aged learners.
✔ SEN experience.
✔ Strong knowledge of Functional Skills English and/or Maths.
✔ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
✔ Right to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
