Job Title: Functional Skills English and Maths Tutor

Location:

England, Greater London, Dagenham

Job Duties:

  • Deliver high-quality instruction in Functional Skills English and Maths
  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans tailored to individual student needs
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Support students in achieving their learning goals
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance

Required Qualifications:

  • Recognised teaching qualification
  • Specialism in Functional Skills English and Maths
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years' experience teaching Functional Skills English and Maths

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of curriculum development
  • Proficient in assessment and evaluation techniques
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a learners home setting
  • Regular hours with some flexibility required
  • Possible travel to different locations within Greater London

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
