Job description

Functional Skills Tutor – NE24 (Northumberland)

TP-Tutors is seeking experienced Functional Skills tutors to support learners in the NE24 area of Northumberland.

Subjects: English, Maths and/or Science
Format: 1-to-1 tuition with learners of varying ages and abilities

What we offer:

  • £25–£30 per hour

  • Flexible weekday hours (typically 8:30am–3:30pm)

  • Local placements in NE24

  • Dedicated consultant support

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience teaching/tutoring Functional Skills

  • Knowledge of Functional Skills qualifications

  • Strong communication and adaptability

  • DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
