Full-Time FQT Opportunities – Specialist Schools
New Forest & Southampton Areas
Pay to Scale | September Start (or sooner)

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking passionate and dedicated Fully Qualified Teachers (FQTs) to work full-time across a range of specialist schools in the New Forest and Southampton areas.

These roles are ideal for teachers who are committed to supporting children and young people with additional needs and who thrive in a nurturing, inclusive environment.

We are looking for individuals who have experience working with pupils with:

  • SEN (Special Educational Needs)
  • SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs)

The successful candidates will be confident in building positive relationships, adapting learning to meet individual needs, and creating engaging and supportive classroom environments.

The Role:

  • Full-time positions within specialist settings
  • Delivering tailored and engaging lessons
  • Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs
  • Working closely with support staff and external professionals
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with SEN and/or SEMH pupils
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills
  • A patient, resilient, and proactive approach
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
