Fully Qualified Teacher

Location: Blackburn
Contract: Full-time or Part-time
Start Date: Immediate or January 2026

About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and committed Fully Qualified Teacher (FQT) to join schools in Blackburn. This role offers flexibility with full-time or part-time options and requires a teacher who values planning, consistency, and strong communication as key elements of success.

You will always encounter elements of SEN (Special Educational Needs) within the classroom, so experience or willingness to adapt lessons to meet diverse needs is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
  • Ensure consistency in teaching and learning across the classroom.
  • Differentiate lessons to support pupils with SEN and varying abilities.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with colleagues, parents, and support staff.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet SEN requirements.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
