Job Title: Forest School Support Assistant
Location: Clitheroe
Salary: £14.25 - £16 per hour
Contract: Part-time / Term-time only
About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and outdoors-loving Forest School Support Assistant to join our team. You will support the delivery of engaging, hands-on outdoor learning experiences, helping pupils develop confidence, resilience, and a love for nature.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in delivering Forest School sessions across EYFS and KS1/KS2
- Support pupils in outdoor learning, promoting independence and teamwork
- Help maintain equipment, safety standards, and outdoor learning areas
- Encourage safe risk-taking and exploration
What We’re Looking For
- Passion for outdoor learning and child development
- Experience working with children (school or childcare setting)
- A positive, patient, and nurturing approach
- Forest School qualification (desirable, not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
