Food Technology Teacher – Full-Time (Temporary)
Pay: £140–£220 per day (dependent on experience)
Teaching Personnel is delighted to be working with one of our partner secondary schools to recruit a creative and passionate Food Technology Teacher for a full-time, temporary role. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who enjoys practical learning and inspiring students with essential life skills, creativity, and healthy living ✨
The Role:
- Deliver engaging Food Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 advantageous)
- Teach practical cooking skills alongside food science and nutrition
- Promote health, safety, and hygiene in a practical learning environment
- Encourage creativity, independence, and confidence in the kitchen
- Support the wider Design & Technology department as required
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge in Food Technology or Food Preparation & Nutrition
- Confident managing practical lessons and food safety procedures
- Creative, organised, and enthusiastic about teaching
- Recent experience teaching Food Technology in UK secondary schools

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
