Job Title: Food Technology Teacher
Salary: MPS (M1–M6) – £31,650.00 to £43,607.00 per annum
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Start Date: September 2025 (or earlier by arrangement)

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality Food Technology lessons across Key Stages
  • Set high expectations for all learners, ensuring they reach their full potential
  • Use a range of teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of all students
  • Create an inclusive, safe and inspiring classroom environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues and manage support staff to maximise student progress
  • Monitor and assess student progress, ensuring clear planning for improvement

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • A degree in a relevant subject specialism
  • A passion for food education and hands-on, skills-based learning
  • Strong classroom management and excellent subject knowledge

  • A collaborative approach to working within a supportive teaching team
