Job description

Full-time | Leicester (LE3 & LE4 areas)

We are currently recruiting a Food Technology Teacher to join secondary schools in the Leicester area, teaching KS3 and KS4.

We have two exciting opportunities available:

  • LE4 areaFull-time role, starting ASAP

  • LE3 areaFull-time role, starting after the May half-term break

Both roles offer the chance to work within supportive school environments and deliver engaging, practical Food Technology lessons that inspire students.

About the role:

  • Teaching Food Technology at KS3 and KS4

  • Planning and delivering engaging, practical lessons

  • Assessing and supporting student progress

  • Working collaboratively within a department and wider school team

We welcome applications from:

  • Qualified Food Technology teachers (QTS or equivalent)

  • Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced educators

  • Teachers available full-time, as well as those seeking part-time work (2–3 days per week)

You should have:

  • Strong subject knowledge in Food Technology

  • The ability to manage a classroom effectively

  • A passion for engaging and motivating young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
