Role Overview:

Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join a specialist school in Stoke-on-Trent from September.

This is an excellent opportunity to inspire students through practical learning and life skills, helping them develop confidence and independence through engaging Food Technology lessons.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver Food Technology lessons.
  • Promote safe working practices within practical environments.
  • Assess and monitor student progress.
  • Adapt lessons to suit individual learning needs.
  • Work closely with teaching and support staff.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds QTS.
  • Experience teaching Food Technology.
  • Strong behaviour management skills.
  • Passionate about practical and vocational learning.
  • Committed to supporting student development.

To Be Eligible for This Role Through Teaching Personnel, You Must:

  • Hold the right to work in the UK.
  • Hold QTS.
  • Have an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one.
  • Provide two professional references covering the last two years.
