Job description

Teaching Personnel is looking for dedicated, passionate, and enthusiastic supply teachers to support primary schools in and around the Vale of Glamorgan. If you enjoy creating engaging, fun, and safe learning environments where every child can thrive, we want to hear from you!


The Role
As a supply teacher, you will:

  • Create a safe, positive, and stimulating classroom environment that builds confidence in all pupils.

  • Deliver lessons effectively, adapting to the school’s teaching style and curriculum needs.

  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and colleagues.

  • Provide constructive feedback on students’ learning and effort.

  • Support a child-led approach to learning, encouraging curiosity, independence, and creativity.

  • Work across all primary school year groups, from Nursery to Year 6.


The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for teachers who:

  • Are confident in supporting all primary age groups (Nursery to Year 6).

  • Understand that children learn in different ways and can adapt teaching methods accordingly.

  • Are up to date with the current Welsh Curriculum.

  • Are passionate about enhancing both the learning and emotional experiences of children.

  • Have a strong commitment to developing their own skills and professional growth.

  • Are flexible, adaptable, and enthusiastic about supply teaching in a variety of school environments.


Essential Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Right to work in the UK

  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service

  • Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
