Pay: £13.75 per hour (PAYE)

Teaching Personnel is seeking enthusiastic, caring, and reliable individuals to work as ALN Teaching Assistants on a day-to-day supply basis in primary schools across Barry and the Vale of Glamorgan. This is a perfect opportunity for anyone looking for flexible working hours or experience in education.
No previous teaching experience is required – just a positive attitude and a passion for helping children thrive.
✨ Role Responsibilities:
Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
Helping to create a safe, positive, and engaging classroom environment
Building strong relationships with pupils and staff
️ Providing encouragement and feedback to support learning
Promoting a child-led approach to learning
Assisting with challenging behaviour and helping pupils regulate emotions
The Ideal Candidate Will:

Be confident working in a school environment
⏱️ Be flexible and happy to work on a day-to-day basis

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
