Are you confident working with young people and looking for flexible work in secondary schools?

We’re currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to support a range of secondary schools across Bristol. This role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, or individuals with experience working with young people who are interested in gaining classroom experience.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will step into the classroom to supervise pre-set lessons when teachers are absent, helping to ensure students stay on task and maintain a positive learning environment.

What the Role Involves

• Supervising classes across KS3 and KS4 using pre-prepared lesson materials

• Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring students remain focused on their work

• Supporting students with tasks and maintaining a productive learning environment

• Reporting back to teaching staff on lesson progress and any issues that arise

• Working across a range of subjects depending on school needs

We’re Looking For

• Confident individuals with strong communication skills

• Experience working with young people (education, tutoring, coaching, youth work, etc.)

• The ability to manage a classroom and maintain a positive learning environment

• A proactive and reliable approach to work

• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
