Job description
EYFS Tutor/Support – Wigan (WN1 / WN2)
We are looking for enthusiastic and nurturing tutors to provide Early Years support in the Wigan area (WN1 / WN2). This is a rewarding opportunity to help young children develop the core skills they need for a strong start in education.
Your role will include:

Delivering 1:1 or small group sessions in homes or local community settings
-
Supporting early literacy, numeracy, communication, and social skills
-
Planning creative, play-based activities tailored to each child’s needs
-
Encouraging confidence, independence, and a love of learning
-
Recording progress and sharing feedback with parents or carers
What we’re looking for:
-
Experience in Early Years (school, nursery, or tutoring)
-
Good knowledge of the EYFS framework
-
A patient, engaging and adaptable approach
-
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
What you’ll receive:

£25–£30 per hour (depending on experience)
-
Flexible weekday hours during the school day
-
Weekly PAYE pay with no umbrella deductions

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
