EYFS Teaching Assistant
Location: Speke, Liverpool (covering nurseries and primary schools across Liverpool)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Flexible – Day-to-Day and Short-Term Assignments
Pay Rate: £13.75 – £15.25 per hour (depending on experience)
Are you an experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant looking for flexibility and variety? We are seeking a dedicated professional from the Speke area to join our supply pool, supporting nurseries and primary schools across Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in early years education while enjoying a work schedule that suits you.
About the Role
- Provide nurturing support in EYFS settings across nurseries and primary schools
- Assist with play-based learning and early development activities
- Support children with speech, language, and social skills
- Work collaboratively with staff to create safe, stimulating environments
The Ideal Candidate
- Has proven experience working in EYFS or nursery settings
- Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 TA/Early Years qualification (or equivalent experience)
- Is enthusiastic, patient, and passionate about early childhood development
- Holds a DBS on the Update Service or is willing to apply

- Bus: Regular services including the 80, 82, and 86A run to Liverpool city centre and nearby areas (approx. 30–40 minutes).
- Train: Hunts Cross Station is close by, with Merseyrail links to Liverpool Central in around 20 minutes.
- Road: Easy access via the A561 and M62, ideal for drivers.
- Airport: Liverpool John Lennon Airport is just minutes away, making Speke a well-connected hub.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
