General Teaching Assistant – EYFS
Location: Southport
Start Date: February 2026
Contracted Through: Teaching Personnel

A lovely Primary School in Southport is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic General Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team from February 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a warm, nurturing and community-focused school where every child is supported to achieve their full potential.

About the Role

As a General Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support learning across EYFS, working closely with class teachers and early years practitioners

  • Assist with delivering engaging, play-based learning activities

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support where required

  • Help create a positive, inclusive and inspiring environment for our youngest learners

  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through teamwork, communication, and enthusiasm

This role is ideal for someone passionate about early childhood education, with a caring nature and the desire to make a meaningful difference each day.
