JOB DESCRIPTION

About the Role:
The successful candidate will be overlooking responsibility such as:
- Planning and delivering, high-quality and engaging lessons in line with the schools (EYFS) Early Years education curriculum.
- Fostering curiosity, creativity and collaboration in their early development.
- Stimulating a safe environment for every child.
- Working harmoniously with support staff, parents and school leadership for optimum outcomes.
- Upholding school policies and procedures, including safeguarding policies.
What we are looking for:
- A qualified teacher with QTS (achieved via a Degree with QTS, PGCE, or SCITT). (ECTs are encouraged to apply)
- A two years’ experience in (EYFS) Early Years education setting, ideally as a reception teacher.
- A passion for working with early childhood education and development.
- Excellent communication skills and phonics skills.
- An interactive and collaborative approach with colleague.
All applicants must be willing to undergo vetting checks as part of the school’s commitment to Safeguarding and Anti-bullying. This will include:
- Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through us)
- Two recent references (covering the past 24 months)
- Overseas Police Check (if applicable – for candidates who have lived outside the UK for 3+ months in the past 5 years)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
