Early Years Teacher (Nursery)
Infants School, Southport
Full-Time: September 2026 – July 2027
Competitive Daily Rate: £130 – £232.56 (dependent on experience)
Teaching Personnel are seeking a passionate and committed Early Years Teacher to join the Nursery provision at an Infant School. This is a full-time, fixed-term opportunity starting in September 2026, for the full academic year.
The Role
- Full-time Nursery Teacher within an EYFS setting
- Deliver high-quality, play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework
- Lead and work alongside a supportive team of 3 Teaching Assistants
- Plan, assess, and monitor pupil progress effectively
- Create a warm, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
- Build positive relationships with colleagues and parents

The Ideal Candidate
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) – essential
- Previous experience teaching within EYFS / Nursery
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development
- Confident leading a classroom and directing support staff
- Patient, adaptable, and enthusiastic about early years education
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
