Early Years Teacher (Nursery)

Infants School, Southport

Full-Time: September 2026 – July 2027
Competitive Daily Rate: £130 – £232.56 (dependent on experience)

Teaching Personnel are seeking a passionate and committed Early Years Teacher to join the Nursery provision at an Infant School. This is a full-time, fixed-term opportunity starting in September 2026, for the full academic year.

The Role

  • Full-time Nursery Teacher within an EYFS setting
  • Deliver high-quality, play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework
  • Lead and work alongside a supportive team of 3 Teaching Assistants
  • Plan, assess, and monitor pupil progress effectively
  • Create a warm, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
  • Build positive relationships with colleagues and parents

The Ideal Candidate

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) – essential
  • Previous experience teaching within EYFS / Nursery
  • Strong knowledge of early childhood development
  • Confident leading a classroom and directing support staff
  • Patient, adaptable, and enthusiastic about early years education
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
