Teaching Personnel is proud to be working in partnership with a warm and welcoming primary school in Heysham, who are seeking a full-time EYFS Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about early childhood education and keen to support children in their first steps of learning.

About the Role:

As the EYFS Teacher, you will take full classroom responsibility for a Reception class, creating a safe, stimulating and engaging learning environment. You will be supported by a full-time teaching assistant and a dedicated leadership team who value collaboration, creativity, and care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the EYFS framework

  • Promote a love of learning through play-based and structured activities

  • Support the development of each child’s personal, social, and emotional skills

  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues

  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting your teaching accordingly

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds QTS and has experience teaching in EYFS

  • Demonstrates a solid understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development

  • Brings enthusiasm, patience, and a positive, proactive attitude

  • Has excellent communication and classroom management skills

  • Welcomes collaboration and values inclusion
