EYFS Teacher – Full-Time (Maternity Cover)

Location: Burnley
Start Date: June 2026
Contract Length: 1 Year (Maternity Cover)

Are you a passionate and creative EYFS Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity in a supportive and nurturing school environment? We are seeking an enthusiastic practitioner to join a vibrant primary school in Burnley to cover maternity leave for 12 months, starting in June 2026.

About the Role:

As the EYFS Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality early years curriculum that inspires and supports children at a vital stage of their development. You will work closely with a dedicated team to create a warm, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in line with the EYFS Framework
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and positive learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with support staff and the wider school team
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
  • Track pupil progress and maintain accurate records
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and its values

About You:

We are looking for an EYFS Teacher who is:

  • Qualified with QTS (or equivalent)
  • Passionate about early years education
  • Creative, adaptable, and committed to child‑centred learning
  • Skilled in building positive relationships and fostering independence
  • Knowledgeable about the EYFS curriculum and best practice

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
