EYFS Teaching Assistant (Level 2 or Level 3) – Bolton
£14.25 per hour
Monday to Friday | 8:30am – 3:30pm (30-minute lunch break)

Are you an enthusiastic and nurturing Teaching Assistant with a passion for Early Years? Do you love helping children develop a lifelong love of reading and learning?
We are looking for a dedicated Level 2 or Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Bolton area from September 2026.
The Role
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support children's learning and development within the Early Years Foundation Stage. You will need to be confident leading your own small group interventions, particularly in phonics, and play a key role in developing children's early reading skills, vocabulary and communication.
What We're Looking For
The successful candidate will:
- Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
- Have previous experience working within an EYFS setting.
- Be experienced in delivering phonics interventions and confident leading their own small groups.
- Have a genuine passion for reading and helping children develop a love of books, language and vocabulary.
- Be caring, patient and enthusiastic, with the ability to build positive relationships with children and staff.
- Be proactive, reliable and committed to supporting every child to reach their full potential.

- £14.25 per hour.
- Working hours of 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with a 30-minute lunch break.
