Contract: Full-time / Part-time (term-time)

The Role
Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a specialist education provision in Headington, Oxford, to recruit a dedicated EYFS Teacher or SEN Primary Teacher. This role involves supporting young people aged 16+ with Special Educational Needs, including autism, to develop life skills, independence, and functional learning skills.
You will work within a small, supportive setting delivering a highly personalised curriculum that prioritises communication, emotional regulation, independence, and real-world learning.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, structured lessons tailored to individual needs

Support learners to develop life skills, independence, and functional skills

Adapt teaching strategies to meet sensory, communication, and behavioural needs

Foster a calm, safe, and inclusive learning environment

Work collaboratively with support staff and external professionals

Track progress and contribute to individual learning plans
About You
We are looking for a teacher who is:
-
Qualified (QTS/QTLS preferred, but experienced unqualified teachers may be considered)

Experienced in SEN, autism, or complex needs
-
Confident supporting older learners (16+) with developmental and life-skills-based learning
-
Patient, resilient, and passionate about inclusive education

Comfortable delivering a curriculum focused on life skills rather than traditional academics

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
