Teaching Personnel are seeking committed, driven, and passionate Qualified EYFS Practitioners to support a thriving nursery in the Oxton area. This is a fantastic opportunity for enthusiastic Early Years professionals looking for flexible work, ongoing support, and the chance to make a real impact in a warm and engaging early years environment.

About the Role

We are looking for practitioners who can help deliver high‑quality early years education in line with the EYFS framework. You will play a key role in supporting children’s development, creating stimulating learning experiences, and promoting independence, curiosity, and emotional wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high‑quality care and learning experiences within the EYFS setting.
  • Support children’s development through play, planned activities, and observations.
  • Help maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
  • Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies at all times.
  • Adapt confidently to new settings with professionalism and enthusiasm.

The nursery you will be supporting is a vibrant, well-resourced setting offering an inspiring place for children to grow, explore and learn.

  • Features large, spacious playrooms filled with activities that support creativity, exploration and early years learning.
  • Includes purpose‑built sensory rooms to support inclusive learning and children’s emotional wellbeing.
  • Offers beautifully landscaped outdoor areas with soft play zones, mud kitchens, water play and climbing equipment.
  • Staffed by highly‑qualified childcare practitioners trained in safeguarding and first aid.
  • Focused on helping children become resilient, capable, confident and self‑assured as part of the Partou early years ethos.
  • Expanded capacity following renovations, enabling the nursery to offer more childcare places and support local families.

Flexible Working Options

We offer flexibility to suit your lifestyle:

Full days: 8am–6pm

Half days: 8am–1pm or 1pm–6pm

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in an EYFS setting (Nursery, Reception, etc.) OR experience working with children
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification
  • A nurturing, adaptable, and proactive approach
  • Willingness to complete EYFS CPD training
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
