Key Responsibilities – Exam Invigilator Role

  • Supervise students during examinations, ensuring JCQ exam regulations are followed
  • Assist with setting up exam rooms, including seating plans and materials
  • Monitor student behaviour and maintain a calm, controlled environment
  • Record attendance and report any irregularities to the Exams Officer
  • Distribute and collect exam papers in line with procedures
  • Work collaboratively with school staff and the exams team

✅ Requirements

  • Previous Teaching Assistant experience (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional approach
  • Interest in working within secondary schools in Newport
