Exam Invigilator
Job description
We are currently recruiting reliable and professional Exam Invigilators to support secondary schools across Bristol during exam periods. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking for flexible, term-time work within education.
In addition to invigilation, candidates who are open to working as Teaching Assistants will have the opportunity to access additional work outside of exam seasons.
As an Exam Invigilator, you will:
- Supervise students during examinations, ensuring exam conditions are maintained
- Distribute and collect exam papers and materials
- Scribe or read for students who need additional support
- Ensure school and exam board regulations are followed
- Provide a calm, supportive, and professional presence in the exam room
Teaching Assistant work may include:
- Supporting students in the classroom on a 1:1 or small group basis
- Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management
- Supporting students with additional learning or behavioural needs
Ideal Candidate:
- Reliable, punctual, and highly organised
- Confident working with secondary-aged students
- Able to follow instructions and maintain confidentiality
- Flexible and adaptable, with a positive attitude
- Open to working as a Teaching Assistant (desirable but not essential)
Previous school experience is helpful but not essential, as training will be provided.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
