About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ESOL Tutor to provide high-quality, one-to-one tuition to learners in Bedford. Sessions will take place either in the pupil's home or within a school setting during school hours.

Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and tailored ESOL lessons to meet individual learner needs.
- Assess learners' current levels and create personalised learning plans.
- Support the development of speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
- Monitor and record learner progress and provide regular feedback.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, families, schools, and other professionals.
- Adapt teaching strategies to suit different learning styles and abilities.
Requirements
- Experience teaching or tutoring ESOL/English as a Second Language.
- Relevant teaching, tutoring, ESOL, CELTA, TESOL, TEFL, or equivalent qualification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging, learner-centred sessions.
- Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Right to work in the UK.
- Access to transport and willingness to travel within Bedford.
Desirable
- Experience working with children and young people.
- Experience supporting learners with additional needs.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
