English Tutor – Durham

1:1 tuition, flexible hours, competitive hourly rate.

Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate and experienced English Tutor to work one to one with students across Durham. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys making a genuine difference to students' academic progress and personal confidence.

As an English Tutor, you'll work 1:1 with students, tailoring sessions to meet individual learning needs. You'll plan and deliver engaging, effective lessons that help students build skills, confidence and a love for learning.

You need:

  • Experience teaching or tutoring English
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging, structured sessions
  • Supportive, encouraging approach to learning
  • Strong communication skills and commitment to student progress

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
