English Teachers Needed in a Nottinghamshire Secondary Schools

Teaching Personnel is currently looking to recruit a dynamic English teachers who are passionate about teaching English and the inspiration of students to reach their full potential.   • Role: English Teacher

What the role entails:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality English lessons.
  • Use of various teaching strategies and resources to challenge and support students of all abilities.
  • Collaboration with the English department regarding work schemes, assessment strategies, and ideas of best practise.
  • Encourage and maintain student engagement.
  • Monitor student progress and identify improvement areas.
  • Ensure a positive learning environment is provided, with high regard to safe guarding procedures.

Candidate Requirements:

  • PGCE or recognised UK teaching qualification
  • ETC or QTS holders are encouraged to apply
  • Experience in covering and/or teaching within a classroom environment 
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills (ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents)
  • Competent in behaviour management
  • DBS checks (TP can assist)
  • 2 professional references

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
