Job description

Premises Officer – Littlehampton

Are you an enthusiastic, well-motivated and suitably qualified person with a keen interest in all aspects of building management, maintenance, DIY, painting and decorating, caretaking and gardening skills together with an ability to supervise and work alongside cleaning staff and external Contractors?

Teaching Personnel are working with a school in Littlehampton who are looking for a Premises Officer to oversee the maintenance and security of their facilities. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring our premises are well-maintained, safe, and conducive to our operations.

The role of Premises Officer:

• Ensure that the school environment is maintained to a satisfactory standard
• Deliver a quality service in a school where high standards are set and expected
• Carry out compliance checks
• Complete mandatory reports
• Provide support to other Centres when required

About you:


• Experience in ICT software, particularly office 365
• Experience in similar working environment
• Have a patient and flexible attitude
• Be well organised and highly motivated
• The ability to work in a team and on own initiative

Please note that this is an all-year round role and operates on a split-shift basis.  Hours are 7.30am to 11am and 2pm to 6pm (2.30pm on a Friday).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
