English Teacher | Secondary School | Weymouth | Full-Time | Starting ASAP

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and committed English Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Weymouth, with the role available to start ASAP.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced English Teacher, or an ECT, looking to join a supportive school environment and make a real difference to students across KS3 and KS4.

The Role

  • Teaching English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4

  • Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons

  • Supporting students to develop their literacy, communication and analytical skills

  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment

  • Assessing and tracking student progress

  • Working collaboratively with the wider English department

The School

The school is a welcoming and inclusive mainstream secondary school in Weymouth, with a strong focus on supporting students to achieve their potential. You will be joining an established department with a collaborative approach to teaching and learning.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification

  • Experience teaching English within a secondary school

  • Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 English curriculum

  • Confident classroom management skills

  • Passionate about English and helping students succeed

  • Available to start ASAP
