Numeracy Tutor needed at Ofsted good school in Didsbury, Manchester

Highlights of the tutor role:

Secondary schools in the Stockport area are looking to support Pupil Premium and Looked After Children by investing in additional tuition and support to assist, stretch and challenge students in their core subjects. As a Maths tutor, you will deliver tailored sessions either in school, or in other locations such as care homes or libraries, which are designed to address any academic shortcomings or enhance pupil understanding to ensure pupil potential is fulfilled.

With secondary schools across the Stockport area looking to support their pupils, this role is open to any candidate who is able to access secondary schools within the locality. We would welcome applications from candidates based in and around Stockport, South Manchester, Tameside and Macclesfield or Cheshire East areas.

The role of a tutor is particularly suited to former teachers who are perhaps not looking to fully retire, or those teachers who would like a break from the classroom, as well as high achieving graduates or candidates with experience of delivering maths tuition.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
