Science teacher – Darlington
An 11-16 mainstream secondary school based in the heart of Darlington is seeking an experienced Science teacher to join their team on a full-time basis from February 2022. You will be expected to teach all three Sciences from KS3-KS4.
The Head Teacher and Governors wish to appoint an aspiring Science teacher with an excellent track record who feels ready to progress within their professional development. The successful Science teacher will be a skilful practitioner who is able to demonstrate their passion for the teaching and learning of Science.
- Full-time Science teacher required from February 2022
- Opportunity to work within an Ofsted graded 'Good' secondary school
- Must have a proven track record of dynamic teaching and learning of Science across Key Stage 3-4.
- Pay in line with MPS/UPS GBP23,720 - GBP39, 406.
As the incoming Science teacher you will contribute to the provision of high quality learning across school, enthusing and encourage pupils to bring out the best in them. The role will involve planning, preparing and teaching to assess and secure excellent outcomes for all pupils in Science. You will also be required to demonstrate a continued commitment to raising attainment amongst all pupils across school equally.
Located in Darlington, the school is easily accessible and there are various public transport options available.
