We are seeking a dedicated English specialist to join a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Monmouth.

The school also features a large Specialist Resource Base (SRB) with dedicated facilities, bespoke timetables, and tailored support packages for pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN).

Role Responsibilities
As an English Teacher, you will:
- Deliver high-quality English lessons that promote a love of reading, writing, and literacy skills.
- Create a supportive, engaging classroom environment that encourages independent learning and positive behaviour.
- Differentiate lessons effectively to meet the needs of learners, including those with identified ALN.
- Contribute to the wider school ethos through pastoral support and involvement in professional development.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and the school's ALN/SRB team to ensure all pupils have access to an inclusive and inspiring curriculum.
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this English Teacher role, you will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE.
- Experience teaching English at secondary level in the UK.
- Strong ability to differentiate instruction and support learners with Additional Learning Needs.
- Excellent organisation, communication, and classroom management skills.
- A passion for English education and a commitment to helping students achieve their full potential.
