English Teacher – Lancaster
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Until the end of the academic year

Are you an inspiring and enthusiastic English Teacher looking for a rewarding position to take you through to the end of the academic year? A welcoming secondary school in Lancaster is seeking a passionate educator to join their team and deliver high‑quality English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
About the Role
- Teach engaging and well‑structured English lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Plan, prepare and deliver high‑quality teaching that supports student progress.
- Assess, track and report on pupil attainment and development.
- Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that motivates students of all abilities.
- Contribute to the wider school community and uphold the school’s values and expectations.
About You
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for English.
- Ability to inspire, challenge and support students.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Flexibility and confidence to hit the ground running.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
