English Teacher

Job Duties:

The English Teacher will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging English lessons to students. They will create a positive learning environment, assess student progress, and provide feedback to support their development. The teacher will also collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure student success.

Required Qualifications:

- A recognised teaching qualification

- Experience teaching English at the primary or secondary level

- Strong knowledge of the English curriculum

Education:

A Bachelor's degree in English or a related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience

Knowledge and Skills:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners

- Strong classroom management skills

- Proficiency in using educational technology

Preferred Qualifications:

- Postgraduate qualification in Education

- Experience working with special educational needs students

Working Conditions:

The English Teacher will work in a school setting following the academic calendar. They may participate in extracurricular activities and professional development opportunities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
